China seems to be near the commercial deployment of V2X.

This can also be seen from the successful testing of Autotalks related to interoperability. According to Autotalks its chipset is ready for commercial deployment for Chinese CAV market.

Autotalks also presented its testing at SAE Congress and Exhibition 2019 held in China.

In the demo, Autotalk’s chipset was used by five different automotive brands, which included Great Wall, Renault-Nissan, FAW and Brilliance Auto, which successfully presented the interoperability between different vehicles.

Ford is working in China from Last year for the development of C-V2X and conducted tests testing on public roads in China. By the testing on public roads, Ford also becomes near for its commercialisation in China.

Ford is now doing testing in Shanghai on C-V2X. This testing is based on examining interoperability between crossing chipsets, different terminals, and other safety features.
