      Similarities between batteries and capacitors

      • The main feature that exists between the batteries and capacitors is both batteries and capacitors can store power.
      • They are used to store energy that can be tapped in a closed circuit by connecting them.
      • Another significant similarity between the capacitor and the battery is that they both have series resistance.
      • They both can create a potential difference across other electrical components like a resistor.
