What are the renewable energy associations in the US?

The US renewable energy has been growing with stable growth. The US market is quite matured and sophisticated compared to other parts of the world.

      The following are the renewable energy industry associations in the US  

      American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE)

      The American Renewable Energy Council (ACORE) is a national non-profit organization aims at finance, policy and technology to accelerate the transition to a renewable energy economy. It also informs senior officials about important policies publish research papers, analysis of pressing issues and conduct strategic outreach on renewable energy policies and financial structures.

      American Wind Energy Association (AWEA)

      The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) is the national trade association for the US wind industry. AWEA promotes wind energy as a clean energy source for American consumers through thousands of wind industry members and advocates for wind policy. AWEA offers up to date information on wind projects, companies and technological and political developments. It is also active in policy advocacy, manages an industry directory and delivers educational programs and conferences.

      American Solar Energy Society (ASES)

      ASES is an association of US solar experts who promote awareness, research and solar energy policy. ASES was founded in 1954 to inspire an era of energy innovation and speed the transition towards a sustainable energy economy. It publishes research on the effects of renewable energy and energy conservation on the economy and climate and provides useful case studies, industry news and various other programmes.

      National Hydropower Association (NHA)

      The NHA is a non-profit national association dedicated to the growth of clean, affordable American hydropower. The aim is to secure the position of hydropower as a climate-friendly, renewable and sustainable energy source for national environmental, energy and economic policy objectives.
      NHA has over 200 companies in the hydroelectric industry in North America, from Fortune 500 to family-owned small businesses. The members of NHA engage in hydroelectric projects across the US market. The majority of the non-federal water-generating installations in the United States are owned and operated by NHA members.

      Electric Power Supply Association (EPSA)

      The Electric Power Supply Association (EPSA) is the only US national trade association representing competitive power suppliers. EPSA provides sponsorship services to the renewable energy, environmental and competitive supply industries.

      Renewable Fuels Association (RFA)

      The Association of Renewable Fuels represents the ethanol industry which promotes policies, regulations and research and development initiatives to enhance the production and use of ethanol fuel.

      Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)

      The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) is the country national solar industry association. The main objective is to build a strong solar industry through lobbying in the United States. And in fact, over the years, SEIA has continuously promoted, developed and implemented the country’s use of solar energy. SEIA works with its 1,000 member companies to create jobs and diversity, promote cost-competitive solar energy in the US, and educate the public about solar power’s advantages.

      United States Energy Association (USEA)

      The United States Energy Association (USEA) is an association of energy-related public and private organizations, companies, and government agencies. The USEA is a representative of US energy sector’s broad interests by increasing its domestic and international understanding of energy issues. USEA has established over 80 collaborations in emerging and transition economies between US businesses and organizations and their counterparts.

      United States Renewable Energy Association (USREA)

      The United States Renewable Energy Association (USREA) was founded in 2008 and is a member association that promotes sustainable energy, alternative energy, energy efficiency and clean renewable technologies.
