What are the Australian renewable energy industry associations?

      Australian Geothermal Energy Association (AGEA)

      AGEA is the national industry association for the Australian Geothermal Energy Industry. AGEA has been focusing on building positive relationships with the Federal and State Governments since its creation in 2007 and is ensuring that geothermal energy is promoted as an essential and viable solution for Australia’s future energy security and greenhouse gas emissions reduction.

      Australian Photovoltaic Institute (APVI)

      APVI supports the research, production, policy and project of photovoltaic solar power. The members are given opportunities for industry information, resources, networking and collaborative research, and can contribute to promotion and standards.

      Australian Solar Thermal Energy Association (AUSTELA)

      The AUSTELA was formed in 2011 as the Industrial Body devoted solely to the generation of solar thermal power in Australia.

      Bioenergy Australia

      Australia Bioenergy is a government-industry platform that promotes biomass production for energy, liquid fuel and other bio-based products. It also leads to the growth of the industry and programs.

      Biofuels Association of Australia (BAA)

      Biofuels Association of Australia (BAA) is the cornerstone of the biofuels sector in the country. It assists its members by updating business, implementing legislation, creating standards, training and conferences.

      Clean Energy Council (CEC)

      The Clean Energy Council (CEC) is the highest form of the clean energy sector in Australia. The members of the Clean Energy Council are organizations that work in the clean energy industry or support the industry.

      Energy Efficiency Council (EEC)

      The Smart Energy Council is Australia’s leading industrial institution to manage solar, storage and smart energy, committed to promoting clean, efficient, cheap and intelligent power solutions for all Australians.
