It has been cited quite often that coronavirus likely to be a type of curse. In biblical stories, often when God got angry, He was sending deadly plagues to them.
Coronavirus is also a modern plague and so far has killed more than 3,400 people while infected at least 100,000 others.
It depends on which angle you look at it. As a Muslim, we saw so much persecution of Muslims around the world. Probably, Christians will say the same for those in the Middle East.
Thousands are killed, and millions are displaced in the Middle East war. Both Iran and Saudi were the main rivals in the war. Intenrtisngly both have been hit by the virus and needed to locked-down their holy sites.
China, where it all started, is also notorious for brainwashing hundreds of thousands of Chinese Muslims. It holds around a million Uighur Muslims in Camps.
These all can be just by chance or some signs. God knows better.
God would not speak directly to us but can show some signs. It can be one of the signs that we should behave ourselves. Probably humanity hits one of its lowest points in modern times.
Pope Francis has also cancelled his regular appearances in public due to coronavirus outbreak in Italy. The aim was to discourage people from gathering to see him. He decided to stream it on the internet from inside the Vatican.
It will be one of the few times in the past 66 years that a pope will not appear at the window.
For religious people, coronavirus can be considered as a curse. For doctors/medical scientists, it is a viral infection. For financial professionals, it is a risk. For (most) business, it is a loss. For governments, it is a shame. While for the general public, it has now become a nightmare.
