How to check for plagiarism through Google search?

  • 1

What is the best way to quickly find if your contents have been copied?

Bloggers usually put a lot of efforts, and sometime we are wondering whether someone else has copied the work.

Is there any way Google can help you to track those who nick your work?

By combining ‘intitle:’, inverted commas (“ ”) and ‘-‘, one can easily find the website that published the copied material from some specific website.

Searching the exact content without using any keywords is quite a difficult job, and it will even return the same website several times. So to ignore all these unwanted events ‘intitle:’, inverted commas (“ ”) and ‘-‘, provides an efficient way to find the websites with precise duplicate content.

For example, if someone wants to find the duplicate blog with the title ‘Qualcomm introduces the world’s most advanced 5G mobile platform’, which was originally published by ‘newsnow.com’. So the text for search query should look like [intitle:” Qualcomm introduces the world’s most advanced 5G mobile platform” -newsnow.com]. This query will return all the duplicate webpages having ‘Qualcomm introduces the world’s most advanced 5G mobile platform’ in the title, but it also removes the webpages of ‘newsnow.com’, to avoid complications.

Simply, take some exact text from your original contents, put in quotations and search in Google. You will straightaway find out if your text is copied anywhere.
