According to Chinese official data, there have been more than 37,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in China. But I guess the number would be more than that. We are talking about locking down the whole cities, so we do not know how many are affected there.
Well, it is no longer china, we have now around 27 countries and region which reported coronavirus. According to the Sky News latest reports, around 330 people have been affected outside China.
The number is going to increase in the coming days and weeks as people and stuff (Chinese exports) are shipped around the world.
On Feb 12, 2019, coronavirus confirmed cases reached around 44,600. It is spreading very fast. The map shows the spread across the world.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommended an official name for the Wuhan called COVID-19.
It stands for Coronavirus Disease 2019. The illness was first detected around the end of 2019.
