CEIC vs Global Data
CEIC
It is owned by Euromoney Plc and provides statistical data. It is a kind of aggregator of data and statistics. Most of the data sources are free. However, it is worth paying for as it can save time and resources. Sometimes, it is hard to know about the available free sources or publicly available statistics, but CEIC brings them all together in one place.
CEIC is also good for emerging markets, particularly China, as it can dive deep down to niche markets.
But it all depends on one’s needs.
Its plans are quite reasonable for a one-off project.

Global Data
As I am aware, Global Data provides analyses of diverse markets, particularly consumer sectors. It publishes mainly market outlook reports. I do not know much about its quality as it does not seem to be specialised in any particular industry.
It is also not an information aggregator. So, in that case, it produces almost all of its analysis on their own. However, it is a reputable organisation, so its data should go through a proper scrutinisation process.
It can be very expensive, and I do not think it provides any trial as CEIC does.
I would be careful while spending my money on them.
CEIC is an aggregator of free data. It may be good for non-English sources, or if you are a busy person and do not bother to search on Google.
Global Data is a different pedigree. I had a chance of looking at some of its data. I would say the cost did not worth the value of the data. Their annual market reports are also high priced.
